Often, those who desire facial rejuvenation fear two specific things: a “pulled” result and long recovery times that force them to hide for weeks. In this new case study, we analyze how the Preservation Deep Plane Facelift technique allows not only to redefine a profile that has lost its sharpness, but also to guarantee a return to social life in surprisingly short times.
The Problem: The “Blurred” Profile and the Lost Angle
With the passing of time, the distinction between the face and the neck tends to fade. As shown in the video, the patient presented what we technically define as a “blurred profile”:
- The chin appeared to be set back or completely “disappeared”.
- The cervico-mental angle (the angle between the chin and the neck) was occluded.
- The jawline had lost its sharp definition.
This type of aesthetic flaw is not resolved by simply “pulling” the skin, but instead requires a deep structural approach.
The Solution: Preservation Deep Plane Facelift
For this case, we opted for the Preservation Facelift, a technique described and published by me in international journals. Unlike traditional facelifts, this procedure works on the deep ligaments and repositions the volumes without stressing the skin. The result, visible already at a month and a half after the surgery, is clear:
- Sculpted jawline: The contour of the face has returned to being defined.
- Chin re-emergence: The chin has successfully regained its natural projection.
- Restored neck-chin angle: Even in the position that I jokingly call the “WhatsApp Test” (that is, looking down while using the phone), excessive folds or sagging are no longer created.

Recovery Times: Aperitif After 10 Days?
One of the most frequent questions during consultations for a Face Lift in Milan concerns the post-operative period. Although each patient is a unique case and the general rule suggests “two weeks to be presentable and one month for the optimal result,” the recovery can actually be much faster. The protagonist of this video reports having returned to her social life—including aperitifs with friends—after only 10 days. This is possible thanks to the minimally invasive and tissue-respecting approach (Preservation) that reduces edema and hematomas, thereby allowing for a faster and more comfortable healing process.
Naturalness First
As seen from the before and after images, the face does not appear transformed in its features, but merely “refreshed” and repositioned exactly where it was years before. The scars, although still in the maturation phase (a slight redness is physiological in the first months), are positioned to be entirely invisible. The true secret of a successful Neck and Face Lift is exactly this: obtaining a stable and natural result that pushes the patient to say: “I would do it again immediately, tomorrow morning”.
