In October, we traditionally hold our major AASURGERY Course. This year, we are preparing not one, but three programs within a single week.

We will start with a small course led by Ilona Kochneva and Alla Poberezhnaya, dedicated to endoscopic facial rejuvenation for beginners. This training, delivered by Russia’s leading experts in endoscopic facial rejuvenation, will be held in an intimate format: only 25 spots, and they are already fully booked.

The next course will be more traditional, involving both international and Russian experts. It will again focus on endoscopic facial rejuvenation. The latest wave of growth in endoscopic procedures is driven by several progressive international doctors and their techniques for expanding the scope of the surgery itself: the procedure is now performed on the entire face, not just the periorbital area — compared, for example, to what Oscar Ramirez did 20 years ago. So, Chia Chi Kao, Marc Mani, Zekeriya Kul, and a number of other doctors, including our Russian specialists, will present at an advanced course dedicated to endoscopic facial rejuvenation. This will be two days with four live surgeries and, again, a very limited number of participants. We are planning a hall of around 120 people — a smaller hall at the Corinthia. Over these two days, each doctor will present new, modern concepts. I believe it will be an absolutely amazing celebration. Why? Because I have never seen an event like this in Russia. It will be the first large, full-scale, advanced-level event for those interested in endoscopic facial rejuvenation. And I believe that doctors who perform these procedures should definitely be there. I am not talking about beginners; I am talking primarily about those who already perform these surgeries and those who have practical experience. Why? Because a surgeon’s life is about learning. And if a surgeon stops learning, in my view, he simply dies within the profession. So this is an outstanding event, and it will be incredibly interesting.

And, as always, the cherry on top: our large, traditional, international course, this year dedicated to blepharoplasty. Blepharoplasty is one of the most complex procedures. This is objective, despite the fact that it is performed everywhere by everyone. If we look at patient chats and plastic surgeon chats, the number of complications after blepharoplasty always exceeds that of all other procedures. Why? Because this surgery is extremely delicate. Once or twice a month, I speak at various congresses around the world. There are a huge number of events on rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. And only one or two events a year on blepharoplasty, if we are talking about all continents. So, one of the most significant blepharoplasty events will be held by AASURGERY with super international experts: Mario Pelle Ceravolo, Chiara Botti, Mohammed Alghoul, and Antonio Jimenez Ortiz, together with our best blepharoplasty experts. Two days will be devoted to periorbital rejuvenation, upper and lower blepharoplasty, complications, and their prevention. We will definitely cover everything a practicing physician needs — all the most advanced techniques and methods. There will be six live surgeries and a second hall dedicated to clinical cases. A video session featuring recorded surgeries from leading experts. So, two halls: one with an advanced program on blepharoplasty and periorbital rejuvenation, and the other with a program focused on complex clinical cases and their solutions.

What is my advice to everyone? Don’t miss it. A full week of professional training at our advanced AASURGERY Courses, from October 5 to 10. See you there!
